My daughter had just finished her university studies. From an early age she had wanted to do town planning. Sustainable development that’s culturally and environmentally respectful is her passion. With her career just launching and an eagerness and hunger to succeed I’ve no doubt her dreams will be realized.

I aimed to capture the unique focus in her eyes as she looks back at the viewer. It is like a “look at me” moment as she takes confident steps into her future. For this piece, I decided to paint on board to feather some softness into the texture of the skin.

Beyond being healthy, happy and safe; other desires for my kids are they carve out a future living up to their dreams and potential. With daughter's studies she always had clear dreams on impacting and influencing positive change for the community. She has my full unwavering support to achieving her goals.
